In random order…

I always hear that when I’m watching Miss Universe every year. And every time I have my 3 hour break, I watch the 2008 pageant. It’s always in random order, anyone can be part of the short list. Anyway…

As usual, I’ve been very very busy with stuff lately: school and FBB. School? School’s school. :)) As a matter of fact, I’m in my school doing this entry. I feel very lazy to do schoolwork. So I always cram and cram and cram. Will someone slap my face?! HAHAHAHA.

FBB. Ah yes, my youth community. It’s good to be back. I really miss our bonding sessions (especially when we make lait someone), ANTM updates, dance steps, singing, dancing, going to prayer meetings, everything. I hope that I can be active again.

Ooh, I have reached PLURK NIRVANA! WOOT! Just sharing.

And I’ll be having my phone tomorrow! I’m supposed to buy Nokia 5000, then Nokia 3110 classic, then Nokia 2600 classic until I choose this:

Cool, ‘eh? Hahahaha WOOT.

At 1:01 PM, October 13,`08 I am officially ALONE.

Told you it’s in random order. :)

Anna, I’m so sorry for not updating. Busy with school, and rekindling my social life. Oh yes, I am. Last term, I didn’t have a social life because I focused too much on my studies. And it’s my last term having minors so I have to make the most out of it, and be a DL after that.

For this term, I have a bad feeling that I’ll be removed from the Dean’s List. Wala lang, I have a feeling that my subjects will be harder as term goes. But, even though I’m quite pessimistic, I look on the bright side. Just not now.

Yesterday during NSTP class, we watched a movie called, “Grave of the Fireflies”. It’s about two children, Seita and Setsuko, during the end of World War II in Japan.

In 1945, on the night of September 21, I died.” That was the first lines of the movie. So the outcome of the movie will be Seita’s death, the movie features a flashback on what happened to the character.

What I love on this movie was Setsuko, the 4/5-year-old sister of Seita who serves as the cuteness in the movie. However, it was sad and traumatizing on her part because, at a very young age, she witnessed what happened during the war and the scarcity of necessities. One of the touching scenes in the movie was Setsuko following Seita in the police station, and instead of worrying about herself, she’s worried about his older brother. Another one was Setsuko’s montage after her death. (She was cleaning the shelter, playing on the swing)

While I was watching, I wanted to cry because of what happened. However, I was with my friends and I don’t wanna be embarrassed because of it. Instead, I was saying “aww.

A day after watching the movie, I’ve researched on the movie. And there was a 2005 made-for-TV live action remake of the animé. I watched a clip of it from YouTube, and I cried because of the touching scene and the music added to it. The music in the live action was more touching than the anime (it was sad but very scary).

Brother, don’t go. I don’t need any food. I just want to be with you.” -Setsuko, from the live action movie.

Sad. So sad. :(
